Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: July 20, 2026
Key Responsibilities- Manage the cardiovascular operating room environment and coordinate care throughout surgical procedures including AVR, MVR, CABG, Bentall, and aortic dissection cases
- Assist surgeons during open heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic status throughout intraoperative care
- Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care in accordance with unit protocols
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, surgical technologists, PCTs, and trauma teams
- Fulfill on-call obligations as assigned, including evening call shifts and rotating weekend call coverage
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital experience as a CVOR RN
- Open heart surgery experience is required
- Active RN licensure in good standing
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Level I trauma center experience
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Additional cardiovascular subspecialty experience
