Registered Nurse – CVOR (Cardiothoracic)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Circulate complex cardiac cases including CABG, TAVR, LVAD, Impella, valve repairs, ascending and descending procedures, and heart and lung transplants
- Circulate general OR and vascular cases as assigned
- Participate in on-call rotation, approximately 5–8 calls per month including weekend call
- Comply with holiday call requirements as determined by departmental needs
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain required radiation badge compliance
- Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November) as required
Required Qualifications- Active South Carolina RN license or multi-state RN license must be in hand at contract start
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
- Demonstrated ability to circulate complex cardiac, general OR, and vascular cases
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
Preferred Experience / Skills- 5 or more years of CVOR experience (required for first-time travelers to this specialty setting)
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records charting system
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, or Magnet-designated hospital
