Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room setting in accordance with facility policies and standards
- Assist surgical team during cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative process
- Adhere to a variable call schedule as assigned, including every other weekend and holidays in rotation with permanent staff
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical team members to support optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or through Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Minimum of 2 years of CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience required
- Ability to work a variable call schedule including weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
- Current BLS certification; additional certifications may be required per facility policy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiovascular or surgical setting
- Familiarity with a high-volume, acute care hospital environment
