Job Title: Pediatric CVOR RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatric CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: CVOR experience required; pediatric CVOR preferred for cardiovascular cases. Description: Pediatric CVOR position available for 3x12 shift days, 0630-1900. CVOR experience is required, with pediatric CVOR preferred for all pediatric cardiac cases. BLS and PALS certifications are required. The position accepts first-time travelers. Call requirements include 1-2 weekends per month. Expect to work a minimum of 72 hours plus 8 additional days per month. Floating to the main OR is required. The role involves caring for patients undergoing congenital hearts and other cardiac surgeries. The nurse will also be expected to take care of general OR patients as needed. Travel experience is required. Candidates must have the ability to meet the float requirements outlined in the job description. Maximum of 10 days of requested time off is allowed, with no time off within the first week of the assignment. References are required from supervisors within the last year of employment. Candidates must not live within 50 miles of the facility. Return staff must have been separated for one year before applying to travel positions.
