You will work closely with cardiovascular surgeons, anesthesia teams, and OR staff to provide exceptional perioperative patient care during complex cardiac procedures.

We are actively hiring an experienced Cardiothoracic Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) for one of our clients, a leading cardiac surgical program in Schenectady, NY. This role involves supporting open heart and cardiothoracic surgical procedures in a fast-paced OR environment.

You will work closely with cardiovascular surgeons, anesthesia teams, and OR staff to provide exceptional perioperative patient care during complex cardiac procedures.

Job Title: CVOR Registered Nurse (Open Heart OR RN)
Location: Schenectady, NY 12308
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8hr Days – Monday to Friday (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Pay Range: Weekly ($3250 – $3500)

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub during open heart and cardiothoracic surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during complex cardiovascular operations
• Monitor patient safety and maintain OR compliance standards
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal surgical outcomes

Pay Rate: Negotiable based on experience
