The nurse will participate in extensive call duties. Call can be shared between two nurses who are comfortable managing heart cases independently. Candidates must have experience with a variety of surgical procedures, including CABG and valve surgeries. Additional experience with trauma cases, if applicable, is a plus. Daily census in the unit ranges from 1-2 cases per day or fewer. Strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for patient care.
