Seven Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and dependable Travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week Cardiovascular Operating Room assignment in Round Rock, Texas. Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Circulate and/or scrub in cardiovascular surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacements, and vascular access
- Ensure all sterile technique, safety protocols, and equipment checks are followed
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, perfusionists, anesthesia, and surgical techs
- Provide critical intraoperative support and patient advocacy
- Document procedures and respond quickly to emergency situations
- Participate in pre-op and post-op care coordination as needed
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
- Active RN license (Texas or compact state)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CNOR and CVOR experience strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' recent CVOR experience in an acute care setting
- Strong working knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation
- Ability to thrive in high-acuity, high-pressure environments
