Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular ICU (CTICU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Utica, NY. This is a high-acuity unit ideal for nurses with strong cardiothoracic and critical care experience.
Assignment Details:
- Contract Duration: 04/27/2026 – 07/25/2026
- Shift: Night Shift (12 Hours)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Unit: Cardiothoracic ICU (6 Beds)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide critical care to post-operative cardiothoracic patients, including fresh heart cases
- Manage patients with conditions such as cardiogenic shock, AAA, and cardiovascular surgeries
- Monitor hemodynamics and respond to rapid changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, drips, and advanced cardiac life support interventions
- Document patient care using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of CTICU or Cardiovascular ICU experience
- Fresh heart experience REQUIRED
- Active New York RN License (required at submission)
- Certifications required:
- Epic EMR experience REQUIRED
- Travel experience REQUIRED
