Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | 4x12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
- Monitor and assess hemodynamic status of critically ill cardiovascular patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of open heart experience documented on resume
- Permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimum of 2 years of overall RN experience
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-acuity cardiovascular or cardiothoracic ICU environment
- Familiarity with post-operative open heart surgical patient management
