    Registered Nurse – ECMO Specialist (CVICU)

    Contract | Night Shift | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Serve as an ECMO Specialist RN, providing direct circuit management and patient monitoring for patients on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation support
    • Deliver high-acuity nursing care within a cardiovascular or cardiac intensive care unit setting
    • Float to CICU/CVICU units as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
    • Complete required pre-assignment modules and maintain compliance with all facility orientation requirements
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes in a critical care environment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
    • Minimum 2 years of ECMO Specialist experience with circuit management (RN ECMO Specialists only; Respiratory Therapy and Perfusion ECMO Specialists will not be considered)
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
    • Minimum 1 year of recent experience with Epic EMR
    • Must meet facility travel distance eligibility requirements
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 3 or more years of CVICU or ICU nursing experience
    • CES-A or E-AEC certification
    • LVAD experience or certification
