Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to cardiac changes
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with unit protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient treatment plans
- Participate in rotating holiday coverage as required by unit scheduling needs
- Complete required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
Required Qualifications- Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in CVICU; travel experience accepted
- Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
- Active ACLS certification required
- Active NIHSS certification required
- No open background case findings or license hits; all required certifications must be active with nothing pending
Preferred Experience / Skills- 18 months of CVICU experience obtained within a single facility
- Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the CVICU specialty from assignments within the past 12 months
