    Registered Nurse – CVICU

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Onsite | Rotating Day/Night Shifts (3x12-Hour Shifts)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
    • Monitor and assess critically ill cardiovascular patients, interpreting ECG rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
    • Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
    • Rotate between day and night shifts as needed to meet operational needs of the unit
    • Work at least every other holiday as required by the facility
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in CVICU; travel experience accepted
    • Active and unrestricted Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license – must be in hand at time of submission
    • Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification – must be in hand at time of submission
    • Active ACLS certification – must be in hand at time of submission
    • Active NIHSS certification – must be in hand at time of submission
    • Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts permitted)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 18 months of CVICU experience obtained within a single facility
    • Familiarity with cardiovascular critical care protocols and hemodynamic monitoring
    • Experience working in a high-acuity, fast-paced ICU environment
