Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
- Monitor and assess critically ill cardiovascular patients throughout assigned shifts
- Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as required by unit standards
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Participate in holiday coverage on a rotating every-other-holiday basis
- Complete required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations, with an acceptable passing score
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 18 months of CVICU experience (travel experience accepted)
- Active and unrestricted Ohio RN license or valid Compact state license in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification (no pending status)
- Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification (no pending status)
- Active NIHSS certification (no pending status)
- Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the CVICU specialty from assignments worked in the past 12 months
Preferred Experience / Skills- 18 months of CVICU experience obtained within a single facility
- Prior travel nursing experience in a CVICU or comparable critical care environment
