Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to cardiac changes
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with unit protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient treatment plans
Participate in rotating holiday coverage as required by unit scheduling needs
Complete required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
Required Qualifications
Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in CVICU; travel experience accepted
Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
Active ACLS certification required
Active NIHSS certification required
No open background case findings or license hits; all required certifications must be active with nothing pending
Preferred Experience / Skills
18 months of CVICU experience obtained within a single facility
