Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality critical care
- Participate in holiday coverage on a rotating basis (at minimum every other holiday)
- Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
Required Qualifications- Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in CVICU; travel experience accepted toward this requirement
- Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
- Active BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross
- Active ACLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross
- Active NIHSS certification
- Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the CVICU specialty from assignments within the past 12 months
Preferred Experience / Skills- 18 months of CVICU experience obtained within a single facility
- Prior travel nursing experience in a CVICU specialty
