Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care to a patient population that is approximately 50% cardiac, within a 16-bed critical care unit
- Respond to code blue calls and manage patients requiring arterial lines, mechanical ventilators, BiPAP, and cardiac monitoring
- Perform ventilator weaning and extubation as indicated
- Utilize EPIC and Pyxis for documentation and medication management
- Float to Telemetry and Emergency Department as needed
- Badge in and out of the facility for all shifts per facility policy
Required Qualifications- Active Minnesota state RN license
- Active BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Active ACLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of cardiac experience
- Willingness to float to Telemetry and Emergency Department units
Preferred Experience / Skills- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification highly preferred
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
