We are currently seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse for a high-acuity cardiovascular surgical ICU travel assignment in California. This opportunity is ideal for confident critical care nurses with strong cardiac surgery experience and previous travel assignment experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide care for high-acuity cardiovascular surgical ICU patients
- Manage pre-op and fresh post-op CABG patients
- Care for patients with IABP, Impella, TAVR, CRRT, Swan monitoring, and critical drips
- Monitor ventilated patients and interpret telemetry/EKG rhythms
- Collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and multidisciplinary teams
- Follow unit-specific cardiac surgery recovery protocols and patient pathways
