Location: Reston, VA

Pay: $2303.28 per week

Shifts: 36 hours, 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks

Seven Healthcare are seeking a capable and experienced Registered Nurse to join a dedicated Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team in Reston, VA. This travel assignment offers an opportunity to work in an advanced surgical environment where you'll be providing care for fresh cardiac surgery patients.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - CVICU
  • Deliver primary nursing care to immediate post-surgical cardiac patients with a 1:1 ratio
  • Provide effective care to patients in post-operative days 1-3 with a 1:2 ratio
  • Utilize medical devices such as balloon pumps and impella
  • Document patient information using Meditech Expanse
  • Float to other units as needed while maintaining the same patient ratio as the floated unit

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - CVICU
  • 1-2 years of experience in fresh cardiac surgery recovery
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Experience with balloon pump and impella
  • Training in hemosphere or acumen
