Job Title: Registered Nurse - CVICU Profession: RN Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Cardiac Critical Care License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 1 year experience with Cardiac Critical Care - ACLS Certification - BLS Certification - NIH Certification Description: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. The unit is acuity adaptable with a variable nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4. Flexibility to float to all units within clinical scope as needed. EMR used is Sunrise Clinical Manager.
