Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care.
Candidates should have 1-2 years of relevant experience, particularly in Open Heart ICU settings.
Ventilator management experience is essential.
The role requires the ability to float to multiple facilities within a specified radius if needed.
Candidates will be expected to prioritize time-sensitive modules once the assignment is confirmed.
All requests for time off must be included upfront, as late requests may not be approved.
The facility mandates a smoke-free environment, requiring all travelers to be nicotine-free, with no exceptions.
A negative 10 panel drug screen, including nicotine testing, is required.
EKG and pharmacy tests will be administered during orientation, with two attempts allowed for each; failing both will result in cancellation of the assignment.
Travelers should be aware that modules are non-billable and vary by specialty, needing completion pre-start and annually.
