    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to an adult and geriatric patient population on a 16-bed Cardiac Stepdown unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
    • Monitor and manage patients presenting with conditions including post-MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease
    • Perform and interpret telemetry monitoring, EKG, and Doppler studies
    • Assist with peritoneal dialysis as part of patient care responsibilities
    • Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and Pyxis for medication management; communicate using SBAR methodology
    • Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed; work required weekend and holiday shifts per unit scheduling policy
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure in Georgia or a Compact state
    • Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience; first-time travelers accepted
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
    • Proficiency with Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR communication
    • Ability to work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling period
    • Willingness to work required major holidays per assignment holiday policy
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Charge Nurse experience is strongly preferred
    • Prior experience in a cardiac stepdown, telemetry, or progressive care unit setting
    • Familiarity with peritoneal dialysis procedures
