Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (4x10-Hour Shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care within a high-volume invasive cardiology unit performing over 6,000 procedures per year across dedicated Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology labs
- Assist with advanced cardiovascular procedures including complex coronary interventions, structural heart procedures (TAVR, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping), and ventricular assist device (VAD)/ECMO support
- Support electrophysiology procedures including complex atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker/ICD implantation and explantation, and cardioversion
- Care for patients in prep and recovery bays throughout the procedural continuum
- Float to other areas as needed within the unit
- Adhere to facility tobacco-free and fragrance-free policies at all times
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license violations accepted
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and/or EP Lab settings
- Demonstrated competency in both EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab procedures
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records
- Ability to remain until the last patient is cared for and to float as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with peripheral intervention, pulmonary embolectomy, and pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation procedures
- Familiarity with left atrial appendage occlusion and structural heart programs
- Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-paced invasive cardiology environment
