Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Stuart, FL

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00–17:30) | Onsite | Guaranteed 40 Hours

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP setting within a short-term acute care facility
• Perform on-call duties as required by the unit
• Float to additional hospital campuses within the health system as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Complete required pre-start and annual compliance modules in a timely manner upon assignment confirmation
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic health record system

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum of 18 months of Cath Lab experience required; 2 years preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) required within 12 months of start date
• Must pass EKG and Pharmacology tests during orientation (2 attempts maximum; no remediation between attempts)
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of initial submission; no exceptions

• 2 or more years of Cardiac Cath Lab / EP nursing experience
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record charting system
• Experience floating across multiple hospital campuses or units within a health system

• Work within a Magnet-recognized, teaching hospital system with over 500 staffed beds
• First-time travelers are welcome, and free parking is available on campus
