Minimum 3–5 years of combined experience in PACU, ICU, CCU, and/or Cath Lab settings; minimum 5 years of total clinical nursing experience. Assist with both diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization and EP procedures, including equipment setup, sterile technique, and patient monitoring.
Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) setting
Assist with both diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization and EP procedures, including equipment setup, sterile technique, and patient monitoring
Operate and manage specialized cath lab equipment and accessories in accordance with established protocols
Float to other affiliated facilities within the health system as needed based on staffing demands
Maintain compliance with all required training modules, completing non-billable orientation modules during pre-start and annually thereafter
Required Qualifications
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
Minimum 3–5 years of combined experience in PACU, ICU, CCU, and/or Cath Lab settings; minimum 5 years of total clinical nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience within the last 12 months
Previous experience in a teaching hospital environment
Familiarity with EP procedures, techniques, and related patient care considerations
