Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Rotating late shifts | No weekends | No on-call requirement
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Electrophysiology Lab setting, supporting advanced EP procedures and mapping
- Apply sterile technique and manage equipment and supplies throughout procedures
- Perform EKG lead placement, dysrhythmia recognition, and interpretation
- Operate and assist with fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and EP-specific technology including Carto, Ensite, and Cardiolab systems
- Maintain knowledge of and adherence to isolation precautions and infection control protocols
- Document all patient care accurately using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- EP Lab clinical experience, including EP mapping
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Strong cardiac background with demonstrated dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Siemens, Phillips, Carto, Ensite, and/or Cardiolab systems
- Familiarity with fluoroscopy and ultrasound in a cath or EP lab environment
- Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiac specialty setting
