Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab
LocationRichmond, Virginia
Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM | On-call required some weekdays and weekends
Key Responsibilities- Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations in a 3-lab cath lab environment
- Support complex PCI procedures, peripheral cases, and occasional device placements
- Assist with hemodynamic support devices including Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump
- Maintain a staffing ratio of 3 staff per room alongside a team of RNs and cardiovascular technologists
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Respond to call-back requests and report to the facility within 30 minutes when on call
Required Qualifications- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an interventional cardiac cath lab
- Required certification: RN; RCIS or RT certification also required
- Proficiency with GE X-ray and MacLab equipment
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to attendance and punctuality
- Ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes when on call
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-volume cath lab managing complex cases
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity procedural environment
