Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab
LocationRichmond, Virginia
Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM | On-call required some weekdays and weekends
Key Responsibilities- Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations in a 3-lab cath lab environment
- Support complex procedures including complex PCIs, Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump, peripheral cases, and occasional device placements
- Maintain a staff-to-room ratio of 3 staff per room, working alongside a mix of RNs and cardiovascular technologists
- Operate and utilize GE X-ray/MacLab equipment and document patient care using Meditech EMR
- Respond to call-back requests and report to the facility within 30 minutes when on call
- Maintain professionalism, consistent attendance, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab
- Required certifications: RN, RT
- Ability to respond to the facility within 30 minutes for on-call callback
- Strong attendance record and professional conduct
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a high-volume cath lab managing complex cases
- Familiarity with GE X-ray/MacLab equipment and Meditech EMR
- Easy-going, collaborative personality with the ability to thrive in a busy, team-oriented lab setting
