Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Port St. Lucie, FL

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | On-call requirement evenings and weekends | Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 schedule or 40 hours for 8/10 schedule

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, including procedures involving balloon pump, Impella, and atherectomy devices
• Administer and monitor cardiac medication drips and emergency medications
• Respond to STEMI cases and other time-sensitive cardiac emergencies
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
• Complete required pre-start and annual compliance modules in a timely manner via designated platform
• Participate in on-call coverage during evenings and weekends per facility schedule

• Active, unrestricted RN license with no license hits (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum of 18 months RN experience; 2 years preferred
• STEMI experience required
• Current AHA or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS certifications required (no pending certifications accepted)
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start
• Must pass EKG and pharmacology tests during orientation (2 attempts maximum; no remediation; cancellation if failed)

• 2 or more years of RN experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting
• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers also accepted
• Familiarity with Impella and atherectomy device management
