Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days, 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute care hospital environment
- Assist with cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, including STEMI call coverage
- Participate in on-call rotation, including 2 nights per week (post-shift) and 1 weekend every 2 weeks (7 on-call days per pay period)
- Fulfill holiday commitments, including 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Float to sister facilities nearby as needed to support unit staffing requirements
- Document patient care accurately using the facility's electronic charting system
Required Qualifications- Active RN license valid in the state of California (compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
- Minimum of 1.5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience (hard stop; no first-time travelers accepted)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records
- Ability to fulfill on-call requirements as outlined
- Must be available to work weekends, which may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
Preferred Experience / Skills- Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience
- Neuro skills experience highly preferred; candidates with neuro experience may alternate between STEMI and neuro call days
- Prior experience working at an acute care hospital with 300+ staffed beds
