Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab in Fort Walton Beach, FL

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Onsite | STEMI Call Required (approximately 10–12 days per month)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 7-bed Cardiac Cath Lab holding unit performing a high volume of interventional and structural heart procedures
• Assist with and support procedures including PCI, TAVR, PFO closure, atherectomy, right and left heart catheterization, Impella and IABP, implants, DCCV, and TEE
• Operate and monitor advanced equipment including GE Innova imaging systems and Impella devices
• Document patient care accurately using MacLab and Meditech electronic documentation systems
• Participate in STEMI call coverage as required by unit scheduling
• Float within related departments including EP Lab and Stress Lab as needed per unit float policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with Cath Lab procedures including PCI, IABP, and Impella

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Structural Heart procedures including TAVR and PFO closure
• Familiarity with IFR and FFR diagnostic techniques
• Prior experience with GE Innova imaging systems, MacLab, or Meditech documentation platforms
