Job Title
Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP
LocationAtlanta, GA
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities- Function proficiently in all three procedural roles: medication nurse, circulator, and scrub technician within the Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Perform telemetry interpretation and monitor patients for cardiac rhythm changes throughout procedures
- Manage ventilated patients and provide appropriate respiratory support as needed
- Perform IV insertions and PICC line placement and maintenance
- Assist with cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures in compliance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care throughout all phases of procedural care
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Georgia state license or Compact license required and must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 18 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in telemetry interpretation, ventilator management, IV insertion, and PICC lines
- Ability to perform scrub, circulator, and medication nurse roles independently
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior scrub experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP lab environment
