    Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

    Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Full-Time | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory setting within an acute hospital environment
    • Perform on-call duties one day per week and every fourth/fifth weekend (Friday 18:00 – Monday 07:30)
    • Work approximately one Saturday per month as part of the regular four-shift weekly schedule
    • Float within scope to EP or IR departments as needed to meet facility staffing needs
    • Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
    • Adhere to facility compliance requirements including holiday coverage, with willingness to work two of three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license required; pending Alaska license accepted for submission, but license must be in hand prior to offer
    • Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
    • Current BLS certification
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Willingness and ability to participate in on-call rotation including weekends
    • Candidate's permanent address must be located at least 50 miles from the facility (no locals accepted)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR)
    • Familiarity with Epic electronic health records charting system
    • Experience working in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma acute care hospital
