The average daily case load is 5-15 cases per day. Case Types/Common Diagnoses: Includes diagnostic and interventional procedures, left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, NSTEMI and STEMI management, Impella and IABP support, rotablator procedures, and peripheral interventions. Electrophysiology procedures include Micra, pacemakers, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, and generator changes. Weekend coverage includes 2 shifts needed in a 4-week schedule, either Saturday and Sunday together or split up for a total of 2 weekend shifts. Four to five additional overnight call shifts per 4-week schedule are needed with a 30-minute response time. Holiday expectations may include being on call. Self-scheduling is available with manager approval. Scrub color will be provided.
