Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum one year monitoring diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology studies experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state required Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS required Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required - BSN highly desired - Recent acute care experience required - Knowledge of micropace is helpful - Willingness to help educate staff Description: Our cath lab team performs emergency and elective angioplasty. We provide various therapies such as drug-eluting stents, electrophysiology, and pacemaker implantation. The role fulfills the needs of patients, families, and the community. You will perform a variety of patient care functions and tasks. This is done in accordance with current licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Call requirements include one day a week and one weekend a month. The weekend call starts Friday at 3:30 PM and ends Monday morning at 6:30 AM.
