The nurse will be involved in various procedures, including cardiac implant closure device insertion, pacemaker and defibrillator lead extraction, arrhythmia induction, and cardiac ablation. The role requires 2 years of experience in the specialty. The unit accepts first-time travelers. The nurse will be involved in various procedures, including cardiac implant closure device insertion, pacemaker and defibrillator lead extraction, arrhythmia induction, and cardiac ablation. The nurse will also perform baseline measurements, conduction studies, cardioversion, and assist in cardiac mapping. Experience with insertion and programming of AICDs and left atrial appendage closure is necessary. Additional responsibilities include starting and maintaining IVs and using vascular closure systems. Candidates should be prepared for call duty, which is required one week every two months. The lab treats adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with an average daily census of 22 patients. The unit focuses on interdisciplinary support, collaborating with various health services as needed. References from previous supervisors or managers are required for submission.
