Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Lewes, Delaware
Facility: Beebe Healthcare
Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts per week with rotating call
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract Type: 13-week travel contract

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Beebe Healthcare team in Lewes, Delaware. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This role requires strong critical-thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and other interventional cardiology procedures.

  • Monitor patient vital signs, hemodynamic status, and ECG readings throughout procedures.

  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and contrast agents as directed by physicians.

  • Assist cardiologists and other healthcare providers during procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety.

  • Prepare and maintain Cath Lab equipment and supplies.

  • Accurately document all patient information, medications, and procedure details in the Cerner PowerChart (2012.01.22) EMR system.

  • Participate in rotating on-call schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and fellow nurses to ensure coordinated patient care and optimal outcomes.
