Cath Lab Procedure Experience: Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left & Right Heart Catheterization, Rotablader
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Description:
RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out on site.
Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
Unit requires a strong RN Cath Lab Circulator.
The unit will accept first-time travelers.
Locals are accepted with a rate difference.
Additional preferred skills include:
Circulation, IV start, conscious sedation experience.
Cath Lab procedure experience with Watchman Procedures, Septal Closure, Ablations, Coil Embolization, and Filter Placement is preferred.
EKG settings and experience in rhythm interpretation are also preferred.
Target ratios are 3 rooms.
Shift consists of 40 hours total, working 10-hour days from Monday to Friday.
Call requirement includes one day a week and one weekend every four weeks.
The number of weekend shifts can fluctuate if staff call out sick.
Floating may be required but is rare, primarily to the EP unit.
Any traveler may need to assist in the patient holding area in the Cath Lab on occasion.
The unit performs some complex procedures including complex PCI.
EPIC and MAC Lab systems are used in this unit.
Scrubs will be provided for staff.
An EKG testing must be passed prior to starting in this specialty.
Unit actively seeks strong RN Cath Lab Circulator applicants.
