Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required License: Active state nursing license required Certifications: ACLS and BLS required Must-Have: Interventional Cardiac Cath lab experience required Description: Please review submittal instructions below. Interview availability, housing review, and RTO/SD confirmation are needed upon submission. 3x12 Days shift with average daily census of 25 patients. The unit consists of 5 rooms. Weekend requirements include working 2-3 weekends per contract. On-call duties as needed are required. Floating within scope may occur to meet facility needs. Discuss any schedule requests with the manager. Interventional Cardiac Cath lab experience is mandatory. Experience with diagnostic catheterizations such as left heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and right heart catheterization is necessary. Procedural sedation administration and monitoring experience is required. Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and monitoring procedural sedation skills are essential. Cerner charting experience is required. The facility type is an acute care hospital with 562 staffed beds. Candidates may need to meet background check requirements. Confirm RTO and start date are accurate at the time of submission. Up to 5 non-holiday RTO days may be auto-approved. Candidates must work 2 of the 3 major holidays. Active state nursing license must be in hand to apply. References may be pending at the time of submission. Previous employees must be separated for at least 12 months before returning. Local candidates are accepted for all specialties except specific roles. Specific compliance requirements must be met prior to starting. Complete all assigned modules by specified deadlines. The first day will include a virtual orientation with assigned module completion.
