Must-Have:
Must be able to scrub, monitor, and circulate.
Experience with vasoactive drug administration and sedation administration.
Strong critical patient assessment skills and knowledge of sterile technique.
Familiarity with Impella, Rotoblater, IABP, Pnumbra, Laser, and lithotripsy atherectomy.
Experience operating imaging systems and conducting hemodynamic monitoring is strongly preferred.
Description:
This position requires an RN to float between two facilities.
The RN will provide care for patients with various conditions, including coronary artery disease, STEMI, and peripheral vascular disease.
There are three main functions expected of the RN: circulating, monitoring, and scrubbing.
Candidates who can perform all three functions are preferred.
The patient ratio is 1:1.
Call duties include overnight shifts and weekends on a rotating basis.
Holiday coverage will also be done in rotation.
Experience with specific equipment and cases is critical.
Additional skills should include a comprehensive understanding of cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
