Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active, unrestricted RN License or valid, participating compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience with SEMI - Comfort with high acuity cath lab operations Description: Position for a Cath Lab Registered Nurse. Shift is 4x10 hours from 07:00 to 17:30. Minimum of 2 years of experience required. First-time travelers are not accepted. Weekend requirements are as needed, usually every other weekend. On-call requirement is 18 days within an 8-week period. Travelers must be comfortable with all aspects of high acuity cath lab since they might be the only RN on call. The team for call may consist of one RN and two techs. Previous charge experience is preferred. Patient care includes handling various cases such as EVAR, TEVAR, PCI, stents, and more. Candidates should have experience with two of the following three areas: cardiac interventional, endovascular aneurysm procedures, and EP lab. Must have experience with SEMI. Special equipment includes two rooms with GE and Phillips systems. Floating to other areas may be required as part of the job role and abilities. References from recent employers are required before starting. Charting experience with a common system is needed. Compliance documents must be completed before starting. The candidate must be comfortable with floating with no restrictions or special requests. Pre-Approved Time Off is limited. The candidate must work two out of three holidays designated throughout the year. No time off is allowed during the first week of the assignment due to onboarding requirements. Candidates must be flexible regarding location, unit, and shifts.
