Description:
Work schedule is from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM with call duties.
The unit has 3 cath labs, a holding area for in-patients, and a radial lounge for out-patients.
The Cath Lab employs a total of 7 Tech positions and 13 RN positions, including a manager.
The Clientl Lounge has 5 RN positions and 1 LNA position.
The radial lounge operates from 06:00 to 18:30.
The cardiac catheterization lab operates from 07:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with 24-hour call.
Primary equipment includes OCT, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, IABP, pacemakers, Rota, CSI, Opsens, Cath Works, and Penumbra EMR.
The patient population consists of adults.
Typical procedures performed include left heart caths, right heart caths, drug studies, TAVR, TMVR, ASD/PFO closures, stents, angioplasty, atherectomy, mechanical thrombectomy, IABP, Impella, mitral clip, temporary wires, pressure wires, and VSD.
Candidates must be efficient yet easy-going with a good sense of humor.
Self-scheduling for call is expected, with approximately one day a week and one weekend a month.
Weekend call starts from Friday at 16:30 to Monday at 07:30.
