Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:30-18:00 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Advanced skills needed in procedures such as Diagnostic Left Heart Cath, PCI, STEMI, Stroke, Carotid Stenting, Peripheral diagnostic and intervention, and Structural Heart. Description: This position is in a cardiac catheterization lab. The unit has a variety of equipment, including GE Innova, OCT, Boston IVUS, Impella, IABP, RotoPro, CSI, Penumbra, and Shockwave. The documentation system used is MacLab/Meditech. Staff work with a patient ratio typical for procedural positions. On-call responsibilities are shared within a team of two RNs and two technologists, with 11-13 call days per month. The staff has access to newer procedure rooms and equipment. There is a dedicated Charge Nurse to manage workflow throughout the day. This facility has earned multiple awards and recognitions for quality care.
