Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: Cardiac Cath, CRM & PV Experience Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: Level II Trauma Center. Department equipped with 5 procedure suites and a dedicated team. Staff includes a Director, a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, and several staff RNs and techs. Day shift staff works directly with patients during procedures. Night shift staff is on-call for emergent cases. Patient ratios are 1 patient to 3-4 staff members. Advanced equipment includes Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, and Rotoblator. Electronic Medical Records system is MacLab & Meditech. Typical procedures performed include Diagnostic and Interventional Cath, Peripheral Vascular, Pacemakers, ICDs, Watchman, TAVR, and EP/ABL. Best personality fit is expected for collaboration and teamwork. Travelers will be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and expected to work regular weekend rotations and holidays. This unit offers the opportunity to work with new equipment and technology in a supportive environment.
