Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 1 year License: RN License Certifications: Current BLS certification, Current ACLS certification Must-Have: - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred - One year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred - Completion of all annual competency verification requirements - Current ACLS certification required Description: The competent nurse practices independently and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. Provides routine and complex care, with the ability to meet long-range goals or plans. Continues to develop the ability to cope with and manage the contingencies of clinical nursing. Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers to help manage the clinical situation. Meets expectations of the applicable competencies for leadership. Consistent with nursing standards of practice, provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
