Travel RN - Cath Lab - Florida

Overview:

Looking for an exciting travel nursing opportunity in Florida? Join a dynamic Cath Lab team where you'll assist physicians with patient management, provide patient and family education, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care. This position offers a chance to work in a fast-paced environment while experiencing the local healthcare scene.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
• Active state nursing license (Florida license or a compact license required at time of submittal)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff members

Shift and Schedule:

• Day shift, 4x10-hour days from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend and on-call requirements; typically 10-12 days per month, including every other weekend
• No guaranteed hours until after the first call-off per pay period
• Must be within 30 minutes of the hospital for call-in purposes

This role involves working in a short-term acute care facility with a Level II Trauma designation and specialized care for pediatric trauma. Candidates should be comfortable with conscious sedation and telemetry skills, with Cerner EMR experience preferred. The hospital staff colors are royal blue, and parking costs are included in the facility.

Candidates will be expected to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed, within the scope of practice.
