To qualify, you need completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license issued by the state of Illinois, and Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications. At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in critical care or cath lab, is required. Recommended skills include strong clinical judgment, adaptability, attention to detail, and proficiency with EMR systems.
