Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in a busy cardiovascular procedural department within a healthcare facility. This role involves collaborating with the patient care team to provide high-quality, patient- and family-focused care during cardiac catheterization procedures. The nurse will work within a well-equipped environment that includes multiple procedure rooms and a hybrid operating room, supporting diverse case types from outpatient diagnostics to complex interventions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, 2+ years of ICU experience, 1+ year of experience as a Cath Lab RN, prior traveler experience preferred but not required. Support for 3 x 12-hour shifts or 4 x 10-hour shifts. The role may involve weeknight, weekend, and holiday call during the contract but no weekend or holiday worked shifts. In a 13-week contract, expect 1-2 weeknights and possibly 1 weekend (not guaranteed).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with hemodynamics measurements and working within a hybrid OR environment is advantageous.
• Additional Information: The department performs over 30 cardiac procedures daily, utilizing advanced equipment such as Siemens Sensis hemodynamics system and Epic charting system. The unit includes seven procedure rooms and a hybrid operating room, with recent upgrades to all procedure spaces within five years. The peri-procedural space supports patient prep and recovery.
