Job Details

• Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Travel Nurse)
• Location: Binghamton, NY 13905
• Assignment Type: Travel RN / Contract Nursing Job
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500 - $2,630
• Schedule: 4 x 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday
• Shift Duration: 10 hours
• On-Call: Required, including weekends and holidays
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Start Date: Available to begin in early August 2026

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire; preferred at start
• Minimum of 2 years of unbroken Cath Lab experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Ability to respond to STEMI callbacks within 30 minutes
• Experience in telemetry, critical care, ER, or OR preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Comfort working in a high-acuity, fast-moving procedural environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, coordinated nursing care for cardiac cath lab patients
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Assist as scrub nurse and circulator during interventional procedures
• Monitor and support patients undergoing advanced cardiac procedures
• Respond to urgent and emergent cases, including after-hours call coverage
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, effective treatment
• Support procedures such as hemodynamic monitoring, pacing, and conscious sedation assistance
• Educate patients and families while promoting safety, quality, and compassionate care
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional nursing standards
