Job Summary:
The facility is seeking an Intensive Care Unit Burn Registered Nurse to join their team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves providing specialized care for adult and pediatric burn trauma patients within a dedicated burn intensive care unit. The nurse will deliver comprehensive critical care, including invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and burn-specific interventions across the continuum of burn care.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse license, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher, at least 1 year of experience in critical care nursing, including ventilator management and invasive monitoring, located within the United States
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in burn trauma or ICU settings, certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is preferred
  • Additional Information: The role involves bedside care including initial debridement, dressing changes, sedation management, and post-operative care for burn patients. The unit cares for both adult and pediatric patients with a variety of burn injuries, inhalation, and other trauma-related conditions.
