Summary A Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized nursing care to patients experiencing mental health, behavioral, emotional, or psychiatric disorders. They assess patients, develop and implement treatment plans, administer medications, monitor mental and physical health status, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support recovery and overall well-being.   Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health and physical assessments of patients.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients' emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric status.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including psychiatric medications.
  • Observe patients for medication effectiveness, side effects, and adverse reactions.
